The Desert

This is a fun way to play with play dough – while learning at the same time!

Did you know that 20% of our earth is a desert, and while there is not much rain, there is a vast number of animals, but, plants and other species living perfectly happy in these extreme conditions.

This desert play kit focuses on a sandy desert, there are other kinds too. A large part of the Arctic & Antartica is a desert, covered in ice, it’s called a cold desert. There are deserts on beaches too.

I have chosen a few wonderful things to add to our sandy desert, that includes plenty to play with and learn. Get those little fingers squishing and squashing. Create habitats and homes for your animal friends, add some sunshine and food.

The Desert includes:

Two wonderful pots of Dutch Dough play dough, a total of 500g.

• 250g Yellow Sunshine
• 250g Sand, scented

Two wonderful play dough cutters a camel and a cactus.

• Both cutters are food safe and can be used to bake with once you are done playing.

A full set of desert Safari animals.

• These wonderful figurines are realistic, BPA-free and non-toxic.
• Safari pieces are absolutely wonderful to play with, the perfect size for little hands.

Three eco stones.

• These loose parts are made from rice husks that get thrown away during rice production.

A coconut shell, or in this case, ant hill.

• The perfect view point for animals to take watch!
• It takes ants about a year to build 30cm onto their home. Some anthills can grow to 3m high!

We can’t guarantee that there are no traces of nuts or other allergens in our products.

Our play dough is CE certified and independently lab tested.

It is taste safe, so if it ends up in little mouths, don’t worry, it is non-toxic. It is a toy and has a large salt content and is not meant for consumption.

3+ All our products are recommended for children 36 months and older and must be used under the direct supervision of an adult.

If play dough is not used it can form salt crystals on the surface. This is completely normal and disappears when you play with it. If your play dough is left out and dries out, add a little water or coconut oil to the dough.
